Let me know when you find one, I am also looking but for senior level
I hope this answers your question
Question: Need the name of company that makes an instrument that measures velocity of Oil in a flow line or pipeline.? I have a process flow line of crude oil with gas entrained where I suspect that I am experiencing gas breakout of the oil and limiting the volume that I can send through tube and shell heat exchangers. I believe that if I could measure the velocity of the oil and gas through a 12-inch flow line, I could determine if I have gas breakout. I can change production variables ahead of this issue and limit or eliminate the gas breakout. Instrument has to be portable for use in the field and the simipler the better for use by field operators.
Answer: what you need is a flowmeter. search that on google for more information
Question: Electronics engineers, should I follow DSP or Communications.? I'm getting my BS in electronics engineering right now but in a year I plan on going for my masters. Should I go for DSP or Communications. If you work in one field or another tell me what you do and reasons why you like it or not.
Reason why I THINK I want to get into this stuff is because I like wireless communications in general. I'm a ham radio operator. I love building little transmitters and receivers nothing complicated. I would think building instruments for satellites, TV/radio antenna systems, radar, cellphones, etc. Anything wireless is amazing to me. I like the hardware aspect much more then the software but today I'm sure no matter what I'll be programming something. Anyways thanks for any advice.
Thanks Mario, All the jobs that I bee looking for are looking for RF engineers. I wonder now if I can get hired there with a electronics engineering of BS. Well I'm gonna look and see if there are any master programs for RF then.
Answer: You say you like hardware, why don't you try your hands at RF engineering. All wireless communications hardware is based on RF engineering. Take a shot at that, it might fit your interests more. The plus side, you also be exposed to the DSP side a bit too!
